The Accused
Elizabeth Haysom and Jens Soering
Elizabeth Haysom, is the daughter of Derek and Nancy Haysom. She attended the British prep school of Wycombe Abbey, she started resenting her parents during her senior year of high school, because they signed her up for higher level math and science classes, which led her to have to spend an extra year at the school, and they tried to control what she did during her time at Wycombe Abbey. Elizabeth was then expelled from the prep school in her senior year due to drugs and experimenting with her sexuality. She then returned to her parents in Virginia and was then accepted into the University of Virginia, where she met Jens Soering, who is the son of a German Diplomat. Jens attended a boarding school in Atlanta, Georgia and was one of twelve students to enter the University of Virginia on a Jefferson Scholarship, which is a full academic scholarship. He resented his grandmother, who refused to give her daughter (Jens mother) money to divorce his father, which he believed was money that was rightfully his and his mothers, he also resented his father due to how strict he was. Jens and Elizabeth had a lot in common, both went to boarding school, were intelligent, both resented their families, and both were murderers.
